The main character is inventor and roboticist George. The engineer had to create advanced artificial intelligence for a long time. It is very similar to the one that a person has. George's place of residence is a laboratory that was built by ARM Corporation. It is located inside an old Japanese industrial complex. His neighbors are exclusively robots. This is a huge J-1 model and a more advanced J-2. Each of these creatures was the result of complex experiments conducted by George. He transferred human consciousness inside the electronic body and brain.

However, J-1 remained a child who turned five years old. But, J-2 managed to achieve maximum development. She became a teenage girl who turned fifteen. The J index in the names of each robot is not a pure accident. J stands for Jules. This is the name of the man's wife, with whom he lived before. However, she later died in a car accident. Advanced analog technologies helped to preserve the wife's body inside the archive. It was a huge sarcophagus that allowed talking to a deceased person using phone calls for about two hundred hours.
